ESG Report for 2024 COMPUTOOLS LLC

Computools LLC strives to achieve high standards of sustainability and responsibility towards our stakeholders. This report highlights our achievements and challenges in the areas of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) responsibility for the year 2024.

Environmental Aspects (E - Environmental)

Computools LLC actively prioritises reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. To achieve this goal, we have implemented remote work for the majority of our employees. As a result, our performance metrics are as follows:

Energy Consumption of Home Offices

The average energy consumption of a computer and peripherals is 1 kWh per day per person. If an employee works 20 days per month:

135 × 20 × 1 × 0.4 = 1,080 kg CO₂/month

Transportation

For 10 people commuting to the office, the average distance is 10 km per day by car (0.12 kg CO₂/km). If they work 20 days per month:

10 × 10 × 20 × 0.12 = 240 kg CO₂/month

Business Trips

Since business trips in the company are rare, let's assume that, on average, one flight (500 km) per month per person generates 100 kg CO₂. For the entire company, this would be:

10 × 100 = 1,000 kg CO₂/month

The total electricity consumption is 50,000 MWh per year. Through energy-efficient measures, a 5% reduction in consumption has been achieved.

Water Consumption

The total water consumption is 200,000 cubic meters per year. Further measures are focused on reducing consumption through the modernisation of water supply systems.

Waste and Recycling

Total Waste Quantity

The total amount of waste is 10,000 tons per year. Of this, 70% is recycled thanks to initiatives such as:

  • Separate waste collection.
  • Recycling of secondary materials.

  • Expansion of recycling and waste disposal programs.
Social Aspects (S - Social)

Working Conditions and Employee Rights

  • The total number of employees: 135 people.
  • Employee satisfaction rate: 97% (based on internal surveys).
  • Initiatives to Improve Working Conditions:
    • Implementation of flexible working hours, allowing employees to balance professional and personal needs.
    • Implementation of professional development programs aimed at skill enhancement and career growth.
    • Support for a remote work culture with the option for minimal office visits.

Impact on Communities

  • - Investments in Local Communities: Computools LLC actively supports initiatives aimed at helping homeless animals. This includes financial support for shelters, organizing charity drives, and involving our employees in volunteer activities.
  • - Volunteer Programs: The Computools LLC team actively contributes to supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We organize volunteer initiatives, provide military personnel with necessary equipment and essential items, and actively collaborate with other organizations to assist the defenders.
  • - Social Projects: Computools LLC supports young talents by implementing internship programs for students and graduates. In collaboration with universities, we provide training, mentorship, and the opportunity to gain first professional experience in the IT industry.
